It’s almost time for one of the most anticipated days on the Golden Square calendar as the Golden Square Cricket Club take on the Golden Square Football Netball Club in the annual John Bennett’s Shield T20 clash!

Bragging rights are well and truly on the line as both codes go head-to-head in a fast, fun and fiercely competitive T20. With star power across both XIs, expect plenty of big hits, quick wickets and some friendly rivalry that always delivers entertainment for players and spectators alike.

There’ll be a BBQ running throughout the day and drinks available at bar prices, so come hungry, bring your mates and make a day of it. The cricket club social rooms are back open so plenty of room on the hill to watch the game

Once the cricket wraps up, stick around as our Goods & Services Auction gets underway. There is an outstanding lineup of items on offer, including holidays, experiences, vouchers, memorabilia and much more — generously donated by local businesses and supporters.
